| Yishai's Family |
Much can be learned about a person (bar mitzvah boy) by studying his family. Yishai's father, Yitz Kurtz, or Isaac as he is known at work, is a biomedical engineer. He now works at Vivosonic, a company that makes equipment to test infant hearing. This last sentence had an audio component. If you couldn't hear it, contact Vivosonic to purchase their equipment. |

| American Gothic |
This picture is from the engagement of Yishai's parents-Yitz Kurtz and Debbie Tenenbaum. Yes, it was Purim and the year was 1985. They dressed up as the famous painting, The American Gothic. Life has been uphill, ever since. |

| Azriel |
Azriel is the juggling, unicycling brother in the family. We were hoping he would have had a career in a circus by now, but he will be starting grade 12 at Yeshivat Or Chaim in the fall, where he hopes to graduate, and stay out of trouble.
